Casa Monica & Lightner Wedding
As professional wedding photographer I make a lot of recommendations to my clients regarding vendors and scheduling ideas, and just general things that make the day go a little more smoothly. The logic behind it is simple, happy clients are more photogenic!. One of my photography secrets always has been to have my clients get ready at the Casa Monica Hotel. It’s central location, friendly staff and beautifully decorated rooms, make it an ideal location to get ready as well as spend your wedding night.
Ten years and a little over 300 weddings and I’ve never had a bride get ready in room 264. That is until just recently, When I walked in this great sitting room, and saw my bride getting her make-up done in the light of this giant square encompassed by 4 semi-circles. I realized it was the window just over the Casa Monica logo…. I used this amazing window to frame Erin’s beautiful dress, before she walked down the aisle and up the bridge at the Lightner Museum to marry Eric.
