Tim wanted to ask Marcie to marry him in a private place in St. Augustine. After chatting for a bit, we decided to have Tim book the Schooner Freedom and take her on a sunset sail and pop the question in the bay. Since I am a licensed captain and avid sailor, I loved this idea and planned to act as a crew member aboard this Schooner for hire. The weather had another idea and storm all weekend while Tim and Marcie were visiting St. Augustine. The Schooner canceled on Tim because of the weather, so last minute, I called the Wedding Authority and got him a permit to use the bridge over the Koi pond in the beautiful courtyard Lightner Museum in historic downtown St. Augustine. Well, she was thrilled and said, yes! Congratulations, Tim and Marcie!
